Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to payments made to Legacy Townhomes at Centrepointe HOA (“Association,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through this website or other payment methods offered by the Association.
1. HOA Assessments and Required Fees
Homeowners are responsible for paying all assessments, dues, fees, fines, and other charges assessed in accordance with the Association’s governing documents and applicable policies.
Payments made toward required HOA assessments, dues, fines, late fees, or other amounts owed to the Association are generally non-refundable and may not be canceled once the payment has been processed.
2. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have made a duplicate payment, paid an incorrect amount, or submitted a payment in error, please contact the Association as soon as possible.
Refund or account-credit requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval of any refund or credit is at the discretion of the Association and subject to applicable governing documents and law.
3. Events, Reservations, and Optional Services
Payments for community events, amenity reservations, optional services, or other Association activities may be subject to separate cancellation or refund terms communicated at the time of registration or purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds for these transactions are not guaranteed and will be considered based on the circumstances of the request and any costs already incurred by the Association.
4. Processing Fees
Payment processing fees, convenience fees, administrative fees, or other third-party transaction charges may be non-refundable, including when the underlying payment qualifies for a refund.
5. Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution or payment provider.
The Association is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card companies, payment processors, or other third parties.
6. Cancellations
Submitting or scheduling a payment does not cancel or modify a homeowner’s financial obligations to the Association.
If recurring or automatic payments are available through a third-party payment provider, homeowners are responsible for managing or canceling those payment instructions through the applicable provider. Canceling an automatic payment does not eliminate any outstanding or future amounts owed to the Association.
7. Exceptions
The Association reserves the right to issue refunds, credits, adjustments, or exceptions when appropriate, including in cases of administrative error or other circumstances determined by the Association.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies available under the Association’s governing documents or applicable law.
